The third generation TL began production in 2004 and released three initial wheels: an 18" factory original wheel with 10 spokes that was offered in hyper silver and chrome, a 17" factory original rim with 15 spokes that was offered in silver and chrome and a 17" factory original wheel with a silver finish. In 2007 the last two OEM Acura TL wheel varieties for the third generation were released, both were 17" with 10 spokes but had different styling, one was offered in silver and the other in hyper silver and charcoal.

The fourth generation TL, which was the first TL to have 19" wheels available, began production in 2009 and offered five different rims initially that included a 17", 10 spoke factory original wheel finished in silver; an 18", 5 spoke, OEM rim finished in silver; a 19", 10 spoke factory original wheel with a polished finish and dual color spokes; a 19" OEM rim finished in hyper silver with 10 spokes; and an 18", 10 spoke OEM rim with a silver finish. A year later a 19" factory original wheel finished in metallic with 9 spokes was offered as well.
