I bet the first thing that comes to your head when you think of “articulation” is the way you pronounce things; which is technically right, but not when it comes to vehicles. When you’re driving down the street, do you ever see those big public buses with that middle thing in the middle of the actual bus that looks like an accordion? That’s what articulation is.
Anyway, that “thing” allows the bus to make right & left turns within it’s range. It doesn’t go into any other lanes, it doesn’t hit any other cars, & it doesn’t really cause a distraction for anyone on the road. You’ve probably seen these articulations on trains, trams, & even some big rigs.
Their names can range from banana buses, caterpillar buses, & anything of that genre.
