The Tribeca & the Factory Subaru Tribeca wheels are sold by Subaru as a mid-size crossover SUV. It was initially sold as the 2006 model with OEM 2006 Subaru Tribeca rims standard on it. It’s built on the platform from the Subaru Legacy & was inspired by the B9X concept car – it’s now evolved to its second stylish generation.
Its original name, “Tribeca”, came from the TriBeCa neighborhood of New York City. The Tribeca is actually the only car in its class that comes with AWD as a standard option.
This car was in fact, Subaru’s only third production car to go without frameless side windows; the first car was the SVX & the second one was the Impreza. Although the Tribeca & the Subaru Wheels aren’t sold in Japan, it is still available in places like Australia & New Zealand – it was then introduced to Germany in 2007. The reason why it’s not sold in Japan is because there’s a similar vehicle called the Exiga already sold in Japan.
