Have no idea how a chrome finish got on the factory Jeep Liberty wheels that you have? No worries, I’m here to just explain how that happened.
Just to let you know, not all wheels that come on a Jeep are a chrome finish. Most of them are either a machined or silver painted finish. Chrome finishes are mostly available on alloy wheels, they just require three more layers of metal treatment. The three layers include copper, nickel, and then chrome. Having a chrome finish can really increase the price of the aluminum wheel – like the newer model OEM Jeep Liberty rims that you have on your truck.
When it comes to chrome finishes on steel rims, the chrome goes on in one simple & really inexpensive step.
So, alloy or steel?
