Do You Know What Suspension Does?

July 20th, 2011

Do you know how your suspension aids the OE Lincoln rims on your vehicle? The main job of the suspension system is to provide you and your wheels a safe ride no matter what road you’re driving on.

If the car rides smoothly, if the tires on your car go over bumps so effortlessly, if you can sip a hot cup of coffee in your car without having it spill, you have a pretty good suspension system.

The coil springs and leaf springs in a suspension system are designed to absorb up/down forces in order to keep your factory original Lincoln wheels and tires planted on the road. Most passenger cars have coil springs and leaf springs in the back while big cars have the same springs in the front.

Do you know where your springs are?
